Over 8,600 billion VND to implement 21 transport projects

Thai Nguyen province currently has over 11,400 km of roads, of which 8 national highways passing through the area have a length of over 320 km.

As a result of public investment in the 2021-2025 period, the transport sector is implementing 21 projects, including 9 projects transferred from the 2016-2020 period and 12 new investment projects. The total medium-term public investment capital plan allocated for the projects is over 8,600 billion VND. Through the implementation of the projects, the total increased capacity in the 2021-2025 period is over 160 km; the length of construction completed from 2021 to present is nearly 68 km.
