Urgently implement tuition fee collection by non-cash payment method
Implementing the Project on developing non-cash payments in Vietnam (according to Decision 1813/QD-TTg dated October 28, 2021 of the Prime Minister), the Ministry of Education and Training requests ministries, central agencies and People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to thoroughly instruct educational institutions to continue implementing Official Dispatch 2741/BGDĐT-KHTC dated June 29, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training on instructions for implementing tuition payment by non-cash payment method and continue to promote the implementation of non-cash tuition payment solutions, in which attention is paid to tuition fees, admission fees and other collections as follows:
Urgently coordinate with credit institutions, payment intermediary organizations and related units to deploy the collection of tuition fees, admission fees and other collections by non-cash payment method, specifically:
- Be ready to equip means of non-cash payment, ready to integrate payment modules in school and educational institution management software;
- Coordinate with banks, credit institutions, and payment intermediaries to unify the form of non-cash payment information for tuition fees and educational service revenues with a minimum of information fields (according to Decision 4597/QD-BGDDT dated December 28, 2022 promulgating technical regulations on data in non-cash payments for tuition fees and educational service revenues).
- Arrange organizations and individuals to guide and support parents, students, and related partners to make non-cash payments in tuition fees and educational services, creating favorable conditions for learners and their families; maximize the number and value of non-cash payments in the total number and value of payments of educational institutions.
