Phu Binh 2 220kV Substation Project: Striving for completion and energization at the end of March 2025
The project aims to promptly meet the increasing power demand of industrial zones in Phu Binh district in particular and the entire 110kV power grid in southern Thai Nguyen province and surrounding areas in general.
Construction of the project began in September 2024, and many key components have been completed. Specifically, the Phu Binh 2 220kV substation has completed site leveling, transformer foundation installation, control house construction, and installation of the 220kV transformer. The Phu Binh 2 - Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang 220kV transmission line section has completed pole foundation installation, grounding, embankment construction, and site leveling. The contractor is accelerating the construction of the remaining components, with conductor stringing expected to begin on February 18.
