On March 10, the construction and infrastructure business project for Phase 2 of the Song Cong II Industrial Park was officially launched.

On March 7, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed Decision No. 225, approving the investment policy for Phase 2 of the Song Cong II Industrial Park project. This marks a concrete step in implementing Thai Nguyen Province's master plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision toward 2050.

The project spans nearly 300 hectares with a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND. It is developed by Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of the Viglacera Corporation. Phase 2 of the Song Cong II Industrial Park is being implemented in Ba Xuyen and Tan Quang communes, Song Cong City.

The provincial leadership has directed relevant units to coordinate with the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board to expedite necessary procedures for planning and approval. By March 19, the investment registration certificate was officially granted to Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company. The preparation process was carried out rigorously and in compliance with regulations, demonstrating the province's strong commitment to industrial development and investment attraction.
