Ms. Dinh Thi Nga, in Cam 2 hamlet, Phuc Linh commune, is conscious of trash disposal and waste classification. However, attending the training session, she was quite surprised to learn about some types of batteries and accumulators, compact light bulbs... as hazardous waste, containing heavy metal particles and toxic substances such as mercury and lead.

On this occasion, Nui Phao Company donated 20 trash bins with a capacity of 240 liters, worth 30 million VND, placed in the fields of Phuc Linh commune.

Ms. Nga shared: If I had known this knowledge before, I would have had a way to limit the negative impact on the environment.

When given specific instructions on how to classify waste and determine what is hazardous waste, Ms. Nga and the participants in the training session all said that this was meaningful and useful information, helping them to change their habits in daily life.

On this occasion, Nui Phao Company donated 20 trash bins with a capacity of 240 liters, worth 30 million VND, placed in the fields of Phuc Linh commune. This is one of the communes with the largest field areas in the province, and is also where a lot of waste is generated from agricultural activities and people's daily activities.

Mr. Tran Van Linh, Vice Chairman of Phuc Linh Commune People's Committee, said: Donating trash bins is a practical and meaningful activity, helping to arouse the sense of responsibility of each individual and community in protecting the environment. We will place these trash cans at points where a lot of waste is generated in the fields, so that people can collect and classify waste effectively.

Previously, the company also donated 1,500 trash bins to households and schools in Ha Thuong commune (Dai Tu), with a total amount of more than 300 million VND; Organize propaganda and training activities for people on how to classify waste at source, collect and treat waste according to regulations.

Place these trash cans at points where a lot of waste is generated in the fields, so that people can collect and classify waste effectively.
