This is a group B project, including a bridge over the river and an approach road. Accordingly, the approach road to the bridge has a total length of 1.1km, the roadbed width is about 12m; the bridge over the river is about 254m long, about 12m wide. The scale of the project includes the renovation and expansion of the traffic section connecting Huong Son road to the new bridge, with a length of 0.55km, the roadbed width is about 7.5m; construction of drainage and lighting infrastructure items... to ensure traffic safety.

Regarding the progress of the project, in 2024, Thai Nguyen City will establish, appraise and approve the investment policy; carry out compensation and resettlement support. The project is expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2025, striving to be completed and put into use in 2026.
