Thai Nguyen Youth pays tribute to heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the evening of July 26, Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union held a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to Heroic Martyrs at Doc Lim Martyrs Cemetery (Thai Nguyen City). Mr. Vu Duy Hoang, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of departments, branches, and organizations, along with more than 1,600 union members and youth attended the ceremony.
At the program, delegates and union members and youth offered incense, flowers, and lit candles to express their respect and deep gratitude to heroic martyrs who fought and heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, for the happiness of the people.
Doc Lim Martyrs Cemetery currently has over 800 martyrs' graves, of which more than 300 graves have not yet been identified.
Also on this occasion, Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union coordinated with units to present 30 gifts to families of martyrs and meritorious people.
