According to assessments, in the first 6 months of this year, the socio-economic development results of Phu Luong district completed the plan including total budget revenue reached over 63 billion VND, equal to 70% of the year’s plan, up 10% over the same period; Industrial production value reached 339.4 billion VND, an increase of 27.5 billion VND (equivalent to an increase of 8.82%) over the same period; creating new jobs for over 1,000 workers, reaching 63.3% of the year's plan, equal to 80.1% over the same period. In 6 months, the whole district planted more than 545 hectares of forest, equal to 109.1% of the year’s plan; certified 5,163.02 hectares of forest of 3,653 participating households. 13/13 communes meet new rural standards; Phu Luong district has achieved 5/6 criteria, 27/36 new rural district targets (up 4 targets compared to 2023).
