In recent years, the economic structure of Phu Binh district has shifted strongly towards rapid growth in the proportion of industry and handicrafts. The entire district currently has 3,000 handicraft production establishments, more than 300 enterprises and cooperatives (an increase of 81 units compared to 2022). Through the assessment of socio-economic indicators of the District People's Committee in 2023, the value of industrial and handicraft production reached 25,700 billion VND, an increase of nearly 2,900 billion VND compared to 2020. Meanwhile, the value of local industrial production reached 2,128 billion VND, an increase of 589 billion VND. To achieve the above results, in recent times, taking advantage of the area's convenient inter-district and inter-provincial transportation system, the district has closely coordinated with agencies and units to make plans for 6 industrial areas, 8 industrial clusters located along arterial traffic routes. Thereby creating a land fund to attract the investment of businesses.
