We drove on a picturesque road that is more than 8m wide and 4km long, had just been invested more than 50 billion VND to expand and cover the asphalt to the center of La Bang commune. The beautiful road and scenery made all the worries disappear. We lowered the windows to let the cool wind into the car, admiring the houses that were built in many modern styles, with neat, square fences, and climbing flowers blooming all over the walls.

There are tea hills with young buds that like velvet carpets. The abundance that is visible in sight makes everyone's mood flutter with emotion like a child returning from a long-distance relationship. The reason I say that is because we have been to La Bang at a time when this locality also faced many difficulties in economic development. At that time, tea trees did not really have a solid position in the market, many people wanted to convert the tea area to grow fruit trees. But in the end, tea trees still "found a relationship" with the people here with an area of over 330 hectares, mainly produced according to VietGAP and organic standards, the selling price is always much higher than many other localities in the district that also grow tea. Tea trees have contributed to helping many households not only escape poverty but also have a prosperous life. Currently, the whole commune has only 15 poor households, all of whom are social protection beneficiaries.

Mr. Duong Van Vuong, Chairman of La Bang Commune People's Committee, said: The Commune People's Committee has just announced the detailed planning for the construction of La Bang Commune Tourist Site, with a planning area of 92 hectares, in Tan Son hamlet. The planning area includes the following functions: Exploiting eco-tourism, community tourism, cultural experience tourism combined with developing the tea area around Kem stream associated with Tam Dao National Park.

Tan Son is a hamlet located on the eastern slope of Tam Dao mountain range, with a cool climate, majestic and charming scenery with the vast green of the mountains and forests, of the tea fields, the sound of the wind and the Kem stream flowing from upstream, the water flowing through large and small rocks in all shapes and sizes.

Mr. Nguyen Van Toi, owner of La Bang homestay, said: Realizing that the number of tourists coming to Suoi Kem tourist site is increasing day by day while the services here are still limited, I decided to invest in my family's accommodation to become an experience destination for tourists. Coming to La Bang homestay, visitors can not only immerse themselves in the beautiful nature in the middle of the wild mountains and forests, enjoy relaxing moments with their families, but can also participate in experiential activities such as picking, processing tea, making cakes, cooking...

La Bang - a beautiful countryside that meets the standards of a model new rural area with new strengths and forces, will certainly continue to achieve greater achievements in developing "smokeless industry", constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people here.
