October 20, Provincial People's Committee issued Decision number 2508 on the development of vocational education in Thai Nguyen province in the period of 2022-2025.

The vocational education development plan to 2025 in Thai Nguyen province is the basis for vocational education activities in the province to be increasingly improved in quality, meeting the practical requirements of the labor market action in the current period.

The overall objective of the plan is to ensure the scale and structure of training industries and occupations to serve the province's socio-economic development by 2025; improve the training quality of schools in the province, in which some occupations approach the national level and ASEAN-4 countries; contributing to raising the rate of trained workers to 75%, of which degrees and certificates reach 32%.

Detail goal

Striving to attract 40-45% of secondary and high school graduates into the VET system; students and female students achieved over 30% of the total new enrollment target.

Re-training, regular training for 25% of the workforce.

The percentage of employees who are ethnic minorities who have received vocational training is 45%; consolidate and improve the training capacity of specialized TVET institutes to train ethnic minority people for boarding school.

The rate of workers with information technology skills reaches 80%.

At least 30% of TVET institutions and 50% of training programs in key industries and occupations meet quality accreditation standards

To achieve the above goals, the Vocational Education Development plan to 2025 sets out 10 groups of tasks and implementation solutions, including: Perfecting mechanisms and policies, improving management effectiveness and efficiency. the state on vocational education; Accelerate digital transformation, modernize facilities and equipment, and renew training programs and methods; developing the contingent of teachers; closely link TVET with enterprises and the labor market; scientific application research and technology transfer; career guidance, entrepreneurship and innovation; increase mobilization and improve the efficiency of financial investment for TVET; strengthen the implementation of vocational education quality accreditation; at the same time, improve the efficiency of international integration in TVET.

The quality of TVET is improved, in addition to ensuring sufficient human resources to meet the labor market, it also changes the productive thinking capacity for young workers. Thereby creating a dynamic, creative generation with industrial style suitable for the 4.0 era.
