Continue to strengthen state management of mineral resources

After reviewing Official Dispatch No. 3141/STNMT-KS dated July 30, 2024, of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on reporting the results of mineral exploitation and processing in 2023, the expected plan for mineral exploitation and processing in 2024, the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee has the following instructions:

Continue to strengthen state management of mineral resources

Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts and cities based on their functions and tasks:

- Monitor, supervise, and urge units in the province to strictly implement the legal regulations on minerals and laws related to mineral exploitation and processing activities; ensure compliance with the Commitment signed with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; review the 2024 mineral exploitation and processing plan of mineral exploitation and processing units, urge the proper and full implementation of financial obligations to the State; Continue to urge the collection, payment and handling of late payment of mineral exploitation rights fees according to regulations.

- Continue to thoroughly grasp and direct the implementation of the request of the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 2348/UBND-CNNXD dated May 13, 2024 on strengthening state management in 2024 in Thai Nguyen province, Official Dispatch No. 2958/UBND-CNNXD dated June 11, 2024 on the implementation of Directive No. 28-CT/TU dated May 15, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening leadership and direction of state management of mineral resources in the province.

- Directors of departments and branches; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and cities strengthen the direction of proper and complete implementation of the contents signed in the Commitment with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in the Commitment dated November 23, 2023.

Departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities, and related units implement the instructions based on the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
