By the end of September 2024, Thai Nguyen Provincial Library had issued 577 new cards and served nearly 27,000 readers; circulated more than 49,000 books and newspapers; served more than 1,100 readers to learn, study, and look up information at the multimedia room and nearly 124,000 visits to the Library's website.

Along with serving readers, the Provincial Library organized many practical and meaningful activities that attracted the attention of many people such as: Organizing a Spring newspaper reading room; displaying books about President Ho Chi Minh; propagating about sovereignty over seas and islands, displaying entries for the contest "Uncle Ho with Thai Nguyen - Thai Nguyen studying and following Uncle Ho"; organizing the Book and Reading Culture Festival - launching the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest; displaying books about President Ho Chi Minh; organizing a Children's Storytelling Contest; Organize 2 online book exhibitions on the electronic information page to propagate the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2024) and the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024); organize 36 book introductions on the provincial Radio and Television Station.

Thai Nguyen: Traffic accidents continue to decrease sharply

According to the Traffic Police Department (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police), in September 2024, the whole province had 51 traffic accidents, killing 7 people, injuring 51 people (down 5 cases, 3 injuries compared to the same period last year); damaging 32 cars, 59 motorbikes (estimated damage of over 560 million VND).

Final round of the English Olympic for pupils and students in Thai Nguyen province

Tourism revenue increases by 34.5%

Accumulated from the beginning of the year to the end of September, the total number of tourists to Thai Nguyen is estimated at nearly 3 million, equal to 101.2% of the 2024 plan set by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and increased by 28.3% over the same period in 2023. Tourism revenue is estimated at VND 1,941 billion, reaching 77.6% of the plan, up 34.5% over the same period.
