Of which, Tan Phu 1 industrial cluster has an area of 74.5 hectares; Tan Phu 2 industrial cluster has an area of 56.5 hectares; Minh Duc 1 industrial cluster has an area of 75 hectares and industrial cluster No. 3 Da Phuc Port is 38.5 hectares. Up to now, industrial cluster No. 3 Da Phuc Port has come into operation, the remaining 3 industrial clusters all have infrastructure investors, with a total capital of 944 billion VND.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Pho Yen City: "In recent times, Pho Yen City has paid much attention to the development of industrial clusters. However, in the implementation process, there are still some difficulties and obstacles, such as: The progress of site clearance is still slow; the issue of centralized wastewater treatment has been paid attention to but not implemented synchronously; the traffic infrastructure outside the fences of some industrial clusters has not been invested; the occupancy rate at industrial clusters is still low..."

Based on the above reality, the People's Committee of Pho Yen City has mobilized the participation of the entire political system, agencies and units related to industrial clusters to remove bottlenecks in investment procedures, land allocation, compensation for land clearance and resettlement. Each agency, locality and unit, according to their functions and authority, focuses on solving arising problems. Regarding the issue of centralized wastewater treatment in industrial parks, the City People's Committee has strengthened coordination with provincial departments and branches to conduct field surveys; based on the consideration of the characteristics of each industrial cluster to mobilize and request investors to build appropriate and effective centralized wastewater treatment stations.

The promotion of industrial park development in Pho Yen City in recent times has contributed to promoting the development of local industry and handicrafts.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tien, representative of International Technology Transfer and Consulting Joint Stock Company, the investor of Da Phuc Port Industrial Park No. 3 infrastructure, said: "In 2022, the Company invested more than 6 billion VND to build a wastewater treatment station, with a capacity of 200m3/day and night, to collect and treat wastewater from factories and production facilities in the cluster before discharging it into the environment."

Along with attracting investment in industrial parks, the promotion of industrial park development in Pho Yen City in recent times has contributed to promoting the development of local industry and handicrafts, creating momentum for economic restructuring towards industrialization. In the first 9 months of 2024, the value of industrial and handicraft production in the city is estimated at over 643,000 billion VND, of which the locally managed part is estimated at over 6,200 billion VND (an increase of over 10% over the same period); over 4,000 local workers have been created new jobs...
