Tea planters are producing tea embalmed with flowers

Realizing that many people, especially young people are interested in tea embalmed with flowers, since 2017, along with traditional tea products, Tan Cuong Trung Du Tea Cooperative has researched this product. Although the embalming process is quite meticulous from the step of selecting flowers to ensuring organic and safe tea and all steps must be done by hand; this type of tea product is welcomed by here and there markets and its price is much higher than traditional green tea.

Ntea Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company is an organic tea producer. Planting tea trees following organic method brings lower productivity but in return, planters can make use of all parts of the tea tree to make different products. Currently, the company is selling 5 main products including traditional green tea, tea bag, matcha powder, milk tea and herbal tea, meeting the requirement of customers at all ages.

Thai Nguyen has set a target by 2030, the tea area of the whole province will reach 24 thousand hectares. Along with maintaining traditional tea products, the province have focusing on deep processing, attracting investment in diversifying tea products to meet the demand of national and international consumers.

Diversifying tea products is an inevitable trend, not only helping tea producers to have more opportunities to increase economic value, but also helps the tea industry develop sustainably.
