Since 1994, dozens of staff and lecturers of TNU have worked in Angola as experts in health care, agriculture, and education.

During the meeting, Ambassador Agostinho Fernandez proposed to create a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation between TNU and Angolan educational institutions, especially to bring practical benefits to both sides, starting with developing training in the agricultural sector with the Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and cooperation in transferring science and technology.

Specifically, the University of Agriculture and Forestry will send agricultural experts to Angola to support human resource training, especially in rice cultivation and other important crops, to ensure food security in Angola. At the same time, building academic exchange programs for lecturers and researchers to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience. In response to the proposal and wishes of Ambassador Agostinho Fernandez, the leaders of the University of Agriculture and Forestry emphasized that the unit is ready to send experts to Angola to transfer technology, especially rice cultivation technology, and receive delegations of officials and students from Angolan universities for short-term internships and training activities in the fields of forestry and rural development.
