Regarding Thai Nguyen tourism, the province has more than 1,000 inventoried relics; 550 intangible cultural heritages; the Provincial People's Committee has recognized 11 tourist destinations. Regarding infrastructure, Thai Nguyen has 535 accommodation establishments, with 14 1-3 star hotels, 45 standard hotels and 476 accommodation establishments of motels and houses with a total of 7,000 rooms and more than 10,000 beds. The number of visitors and tourism revenue of Thai Nguyen has increased sharply. In the first 6 months of 2024, Thai Nguyen welcomed nearly 1.9 million visitors, an increase of 9.6% over the same period last year; revenue reached 943 billion VND, an increase of 21% over the same period last year. The province has built 4 main tourism product lines associated with tea culture, including Cultural, spiritual, and historical tourism; Ecological and resort tourism; Community and rural tourism associated with tea culture; MICE, sports, and adventure cave exploration tourism. Thai Nguyen always welcomes potential investors to make tourism an important economic sector.
