Thai Nguyen province's export output ranks fourth nationwide

According to data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Thai Nguyen province is one of the four leading provinces and cities in the country in terms of exports in the first 7 months of 2024.

Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City is leading with a turnover of nearly 26 billion USD, followed by Bac Ninh with 22.5 billion USD, Binh Duong with 19.28 billion USD, Thai Nguyen with 17.7 billion USD, Hai Phong with 16.8 billion USD, Bac Giang with 16 billion USD, Dong Nai with 13.4 billion USD, Hanoi with 10.6 billion USD.

With the result of 17.7 billion USD, Thai Nguyen's export value increased by 12.8% over the same period and reached 60.1% of the 2024 plan. Of which, local exports reached 403.4 million USD; exports of the foreign-invested economic sector reached 17.2 billion USD (accounting for 97.7% of the total export value) and increased by 13.2% over the same period.
