The Confederation of Labor of Dai Tu district currently has 178 grassroots trade unions, with nearly 13,000 workers, officials and laborers. In particular, the district Confederation of Labor directly manages 154 affiliated grassroots trade unions, with 5,698 employees. In recent years, responding to patriotic emulation movements launched by superiors, trade unions at all levels in the district have actively implemented them and achieved many positive results.

Ms. Bui Thi Thu Hien, Chairwoman of the Confederation of Labor of Dai Tu district, informed: "In order for the movements to bring about practical effects, the Trade Union levels in the district have launched extensive emulation among employees; advanced typical replication; create conditions for union members and workers to carry out topics and initiatives. Thanks to that, every year, the whole district has hundreds of topics and initiatives of employees, many of which are recognized and applied to the work, production and business of units and enterprises.

Specifically, in response to the program "75 thousand initiatives, overcoming difficulties, developing" and "1 million initiatives, efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to win the COVID-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, all levels of Trade Unions in the district have contributed a total of 933 initiatives. Initiatives are in many different fields such as: production - business; labor safety and hygiene; education and training; administrative reform... Many initiatives have been applied into practice and achieved good results, contributing to bringing practical efficiency to agencies, units and businesses. For example, the initiative "Improving the quality of online teaching using Nearpod software in Grade-6 Math" by Ms. Tran Thi Oanh, teacher at Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School (Hung Son town, Dai Tu district).

All levels of Trade Unions in Dai Tu district have effectively implemented the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers, completing assigned tasks well"

Ms. Oanh shared: "Through Nearpod software, I offer 4 types: games, pairings; open question; poll; timed test. Each type of lesson is not only applicable in a specific lesson, but can be used in many lessons, many subjects and different grades if the content in the lesson is changed. These lectures will help students easily interact with each other and make real-life contacts... Thereby, helping them be excited and absorb the lesson more effectively."

Ms. Hoang Thi Nga, Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School, said: "Each school year, the school has 3-4 initiatives applied to the teaching and learning process. The innovation of teaching methods has contributed to improving the quality of education at the unit. The proof is that in the 2022-2023 school year, the School received the Government's Emulation Flag; The School Union received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor..."

In the production and business sector, although there are only 12/154 affiliated grassroots trade unions with the district Labor Confederation, these units have contributed many initiatives and technical improvements, worth billions of dong. It can be mentioned as grassroots trade union of Nui Phao Mineral Exploitation and Processing Company Limited. In the past 5 years, the company has had 143 recognized initiatives, many of which bring tens of billions of dong in profits each year.
