To date, 10/15 communes and towns of Phu Luong district have OCOP products in 2024 (5 localities do not have OCOP products: Phu Ly, Phan Me, Yen Lac, Du town and Giang Tien town), bringing the total number of OCOP-certified products to 28. Of which, 11 products are 4-star OCOP, the remaining products are 3 stars.

From the beginning of the year until now, the garment industry group of Thai Nguyen province has achieved an output of 64.3 million products, an increase of 6.2% over the same period last year and equal to 51.3% of the yearly plan; the export value of garments reached over 302 million USD, an increase of 1.6% over the same period last year.

After 2 years of becoming a provincial city, Pho Yen city continues to make remarkable and comprehensive progress in all areas. Up to now, the locality has basically met the standards and criteria of a type II urban area.

In the past 6 months, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee has approved 9 projects of non-governmental organizations implemented in the province, of which 6 projects focus on children.

Thai Nguyen is known as the "cradle" of the country's metallurgical industry, with the establishment of the Iron and Steel Zone more than six decades ago. Promoting that tradition, in recent years, the province has always focused on implementing planning work in the direction of taking industry as the spearhead, creating a driving force for economic growth.

Recently, the garment export market has continued to recover faster, thanks to which many garment enterprises in Thai Nguyen province have established orders until the end of the third quarter of 2024, even the whole year. Currently, enterprises are focusing on boosting production to meet the demand for quantity and delivery time as committed.

It is still nearly a month until the Mid-Autumn Festival, but these days in Thai Nguyen City, mooncakes have appeared quite a lot.

According to data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Thai Nguyen province is one of the four leading provinces and cities in the country in terms of exports in the first 7 months of 2024.

Since the beginning of the year, Thai Nguyen province has established 6 new industrial clusters, bringing the total to 27/41 industrial clusters that have technical infrastructure investors.

This training program’s content was organized by Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry in collaboration with Thien Tam Fund, Vingroup Corporation, from August 21 to 23. The training program had 64 participants from Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, and Lao Cai provinces.
