Thai Nguyen's economy gradually recovers and develops

In the first quarter of 2022, many socio-economic indicators of the province continued to achieve positive results: Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 5.09% over the same period; State budget revenue in the area reached over VND 5,715 billion, equaling 31.8% of the whole year estimate; export value of goods reached over 6.9 billion USD… Along with that, industrial production value reached over 158,000 billion dong, up 6% over the same period. Local businesses have gradually approached and joined the supply chain of many prestigious brands in the region, contributing to adding value to the entire industry.
Besides the state and local economic sectors, the foreign-invested economic sector also strongly developed. Thai Nguyen continued to be a bright spot in terms of attracting foreign investment in the first quarter. Despite the complicated development of COVID-19 epidemic, over the past 2 years, FDI capital inflows have continued to pour into Thai Nguyen.
