Thai Nguyen: Export surplus reaches at over 1.8 billion USD

Import and export activities of Thai Nguyen province in the first two months of the year reached over 1.8 billion USD. Export turnover of goods of enterprises in the province reached nearly 5 billion USD, up 1.5% over the same period. Import of goods reached over $3.1 billion, up over 17% over the same period. Accordingly, the balance of trade in goods still maintained a stable trade surplus. Looking at the growth indexes in both directions, it can be seen that the economy continued to have a positive recovery in the first 2 months of the year. This index also shows the positive recovery of the province's industrial sector, with a growth rate of over 5% and is considered the driving force for economic growth in 2022.
