The Competition Organizing Committee evaluated and selected 174 projects to participate in the competition (high school level: 123 projects; secondary school level: 51 projects) of 242 high school students and 102 secondary school students. Teams participating in the competition come from 42 units (including 33 schools and 9 education and training divisions). The Science and Technology Competition has been organized by the Department of Education and Training since the 2012-2013 school year and maintained annually. It is a useful and interesting playground to encourage high school students to research and create science, technology, engineering and apply learned knowledge into real life; contributing to promoting STEM education, innovating organizational forms and teaching methods
