The conference introduced and promoted the potential and strengths of Thai Nguyen tourism, and invited investors to cooperate and develop in the field of tourism. Thai Nguyen province has more than 1,000 relics that have been inventoried, of which 1 relic is ranked at a special national level; 57 national-level relics, and 237 provincial-level relics. Also, 23 heritage sites were included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage; nearly 300 craft villages; More than 230 OCOP products from 3-5 stars. Thai Nguyen is gradually becoming a friendly destination for tourists. The number of visitors and revenue from tourism increases every year. Specifically, in 2023 the province welcomed nearly 2.5 million visitors, an increase of nearly 15% over the same period; Total revenue from tourism reached more than 2,000 billion VND. In the first 3 months of 2024, Thai Nguyen welcomed nearly 1.2 million visitors, achieving a revenue of 350 billion VND, an increase of 25% over the same period last year; including 3,650 international visitors, an increase of 11% over the same period last year.
