Minister of foreign affairs of Canada visits and works in Thai Nguyen province

Within the framework of the visit to Vietnam, on April 14, Honorable Mélani Joly - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada and the delegation of the Canadian Embassy to Vietnam visited and worked with Thai Nguyen province.
Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Hai, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the Vietnam - Canada partnership and thanked the Canadian Embassy for sponsoring the implementation of 2 projects at Thai Nguyen University, which have contributed to promoting substantive gender equality, helping to raise the status of women and creating conditions for women to develop their capacities in society. She wished that the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Canadian Embassy to Vietnam would continue to pay attention to and sponsor the implementation of other projects in the province.
Canadian Foreign Minister Mélani Joly thanked the leaders of Thai Nguyen province for the warm welcome and expressed her pleasure that the projects that the Canadian Embassy cooperated with Thai Nguyen University had achieved good results. She hoped that in the coming time, Canadian partners and Thai Nguyen province would continue to cooperate in many fields, contributing to promoting the relationship between the two countries more and more firmly.
