On the morning of April 15, the Provincial Military Command held a meeting on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Armed Forces Traditional Day of Thai Nguyen province (April 15, 1947-April 15, 2024).
77 years ago, April 15, 1947, at the stadium of Thai Nguyen town (now Thai Nguyen City), the Provincial Command of the Ministry of Militia (now the Thai Nguyen provincial Military Command) was established.
With particularly outstanding achievements, Thai Nguyen Armed Forces was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State; Awarded the Gold Star Medal, Ho Chi Minh Medal, Third Class Independence Medal, and many other noble awards...
In 2023, the Ministry of National Defense of the province will be asked by the Prime Minister to award the Excellent Emulation Unit Flag. For 5 consecutive years (2019-2023), the unit was awarded the flag of leading unit in the military emulation movement.
