The delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Hill A1 Martyrs Cemetery; organize activities to visit historical places and landmarks such as: Dien Bien Phu campaign headquarters in Muong Phang, Dien Bien Phu Museum, General De Castries' command bunker, Muong Thanh bridge, Dien Bien Phu victory monument. On this occasion, the delegation directly visited and gave 10 gifts to 10 veterans who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign of Dien Bien province (each worth 500 thousand VND).

During the journey back to the source, the delegation also visited the historical site of the 52nd Tay Tien Regiment located in Moc Chau town, visited Son La Museum, Son La Prison in Son La city, where many Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers were detained during the nation's heroic resistance war against the French.
