Consumer price index in March increases by 2.24% over same period last year

The consumer price index (CPI) in March decreased by 0.13% compared to the previous month and increased by 2.24% over the same period in 2023. Among the 5 groups of goods and services with a decrease in the price index, the transportation group decreased sharply by 0.23%; 3 groups with an increase in price indexes including garments, hats and shoes group; household appliances and equipment.
