La Bang is one of the famous tea regions in Thai Nguyen province, located about 10 km from the center of Dai Tu district. La Bang people are currently cultivating many varieties of tea such as midland variety, LDP1, Phuc Tho, and Long Van. Among them, Long Van tea variety is considered as being fastidious but it is also the most delicious tea variety, giving the highest value.
Mr. Do Minh Tuan - Tan Son hamlet, La Bang commune, Dai Tu shared: "Long Van tea variety has good quality, rich, long after-sweet taste, is considered one of the best tea varieties, that gives the highest value".
Mr. Trieu Tien Phat - Vice Chairman of La Bang Commune People's Council, Dai Tu said: "Although it is "difficult", "hard to take care of", it is a delicious tea variety and gives high economic efficiency, so in the coming time, the Department of Agriculture Extension and La Bang tea growers will continue to look for solutions to improve soil quality and moisture to further expand the area of Long Van tea variety in the area.
