This is the theme of the Action Month for Food Safety in 2024, which is implemented by Thai Nguyen from April 15 to May 15. Accordingly, the province will direct interdisciplinary delegations at the provincial and district levels to inspect the work of ensuring food safety and hygiene in localities in the province; inspect at production and business establishments; collective kitchen…

Recently, the entire Thai Nguyen province has established 601 inspection, and post-inspection teams on food safety. Accordingly, nearly 4,950 establishments have been inspected, and post-inspected. Thereby, 325 violating establishments were discovered with fines of more than 882 million VND, so no major food poisoning cases occurred.

Action month for food safety is deployed in the province to propagate, educate and raise awareness, determine the responsibilities and actions of party committees, party organizations, officials, party members and people in ensuring food safety and hygiene.
