Due to the serious illness, Dong Phuong Linh who is 11 years old is only in grade 4, 2-3 grades behind her peers.... Since Linh was born, she has had to frequently miss school for long-term treatment at hospitals in and outside the province, so her studies have been interrupted. Life is even more difficult when her father alone has to raise two children and pay for their education, while also paying for her hospital fees for regular check-ups and treatments. Life is so difficult, the road to school is so thorny, but it does not deter Phuong Linh's determination to study. Dong Phuong Linh, Ba Xuyen Primary School, Song Cong City said: When I was sick, I felt very tired, now I am healthier and really want to go to school.

In the same difficult situation, Le Thi Thao, a 4th grade student at Dong Doan Khue Primary School, Dai Tu District, lacks her mother's love. Her family's already difficult life became even more difficult when her father, who was in poor health, was the main breadwinner, having to take care of Thao and her three sisters and her sick grandmother. Despite the difficulties, this little girl's desire to go to school never stopped. Le Thi Thao confided: Every night I still miss my mother and sometimes I cry. My dream is to become a doctor in the future. I will study hard and listen to my father and grandmother.
