In 2024, Dong Hy district was assigned by the province to collect a state budget of 148 billion VND. By July 31, the entire district collected nearly 135 billion VND, reaching 91% of the estimate assigned by the province, an increase of 51% over the same period last year. Of which, budget revenue excluding land use fees reached nearly 89 billion VND, equal to 64% of the assigned estimate, an increase of 4% over the same period.

Some revenue items achieved higher than the annual estimate, including: Non-state tax revenue reached 69%, registration fee reached 60%, land use fee reached 462%, mineral exploitation right fee reached 78%...

Regarding land-related revenues, in the period of 2022-2023, many projects have been included in the auction and bidding plan, but due to many reasons (both objective and subjective), this source of revenue is actually still in a state of "a lot of room left" and has not yet become a cash flow with specific figures.

Entering 2024, according to the assessment of professional agencies, the real estate market has shown positive signs of recovery. Dong Hy district has been accelerating the progress of site clearance for residential and urban area projects to increase revenue from land use fees and land rents. After 7 months of 2024, the district has collected over 46 billion VND in land use fees, equal to 462% of the assigned estimate, equal to 1,061% compared to the same period last year... In order to achieve high results in collecting the State budget in 2024, the People's Committee of Dong Hy district continues to direct branches, functional units and communes and towns to resolutely, synchronously and effectively implement many solutions.
