Restore power supply to nearly 50,000 customers

Heavy rain and thunderstorms from August 26 to 27 have caused many electrical problems in some mountainous and highland localities in the province. The incidents caused property damage to the Electricity industry and interrupted electricity supply to nearly 50,000 customers in the districts of Dinh Hoa, Phu Luong, Dong Hy, Vo Nhai and Dai Tu.

As soon as the incident occurred, the functional departments of Thai Nguyen Power Company together with the local power stations mobilized maximum human resources and directed the departments to inspect the entire network with problems. By the afternoon of August 27, the electrical problems had been basically overcome, restoring stable and safe power supply to customers.
