Promoting External Information and Communication to Promote Thai Nguyen Tea Brand

1. Departments, boards, and branches; People's Committees of districts and cities
o Promote the introduction of Thai Nguyen province; key agricultural products, OCOP products, and tea products of Thai Nguyen province on electronic information pages and accounts on social networking platforms.
o Coordinate with the Provincial Police and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review and gather information on the quality, brand, and tea products of Thai Nguyen in the press, social networks, electronic portals/websites, and e-commerce trading floors, and promptly inform the Provincial Police, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and related units to promptly prevent and handle acts of providing wrong information, exploiting e-commerce to trade counterfeit goods, goods with unknown origin, infringing intellectual property rights, and affecting the Thai Nguyen tea brand.
o People's Committees of districts and cities promote communication on district-level and commune-level loudspeaker systems and public electronic bulletin boards.
2. Provincial press agencies, Provincial Information Center
o Promote external information work about Thai Nguyen province, organize the production of diverse content, images, clips, and interactive television programs in English, Chinese, Korean, and several other languages, published and broadcast on various types of press, electronic portals/websites, and social networking platforms to introduce Thai Nguyen province in general and promote the brand and quality of Thai Nguyen tea according to the following contents:
Propagate and effectively implement Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU dated February 3, 2025, of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of the Thai Nguyen tea industry in the period 2025-2030; promote safe and organic tea production associated with deep processing, rapidly increase the proportion of high-quality and valuable products, with the target that by 2030, 70% of the tea area will be certified for production according to GAP and organic standards and granted planting area codes; tea products when put on the market must ensure food safety requirements, packaging with proper labeling, barcodes, and traceability; encourage the design and use of packaging that can be visually identified for tea products, environmentally friendly, and limit the sale of raw tea materials without packaging and labels.
Strengthen communication of inspection, examination, and supervision activities by functional forces for individuals and organizations trading pre-packaged tea bearing the "Thai Nguyen Tea" label or packaging with printed geographical indications to specialty tea regions of Thai Nguyen province such as Tan Cuong, La Bang, etc.
Promptly inform and communicate the handling of acts of providing wrong information about the quality of Thai Nguyen tea products on social networks; violations of labeling, origin, and quality, especially signs of trademark counterfeiting and infringement of intellectual property rights for the collective trademark "Thai Nguyen Tea"; promptly reflect on production and business establishments that do not ensure food hygiene and safety and do not have business licenses according to regulations... so that functional agencies can promptly prevent and strictly handle them according to the provisions of law.
Praise individuals, organizations, and production and business households that are typical in the production and trading of "Thai Nguyen Tea" products, as well as tea products of good quality, favored by consumers, contributing to building products and enhancing the prestige of the "Thai Nguyen Tea" brand in the market.
