Participants

Participants of the culinary festival "Experience the land of tea, rich in identity" in 2024 (referred to as the festival) are experts, folk artists, people who understand and are capable of preparing ethnic cuisine; chefs, food processing staff at tourism businesses, restaurants, food services, hotels, motels, homestays, tourist areas and attractions inside and outside the province.

Activities:

According to the plan, the festival is expected to be held on December 16, 2024 in Thai Nguyen city with the participation of nearly 40 teams from districts, cities, restaurants, and tourist destinations in and outside the province.

Each participating team will select and directly prepare at least 03 special dishes with local culinary characteristics and must use products and ingredients from Thai Nguyen tea trees. At the same time, prepare the competition dishes on the spot, along with an introduction of the ingredients, processing, meaning, value of the dish and organize the display and introduction at the festival.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee will award Certificates to the participating teams and Certificates of dishes that are in the top 100 special dishes made from Thai Nguyen tea trees selected by the Jury.

The 2024 "Experience the land of tea, imbued with identity" culinary festival is organized to gradually build a brand for dishes made from tea plants, creating a unique culinary culture of Thai Nguyen. At the same time, select the top 100 unique dishes made from Thai Nguyen tea plants to contribute to spreading the culinary brand of the land of tea to a large number of domestic and international tourists./.
